the God Who Loves Pink

the God Who Loves Pink

beautiful, bright, bold, but brief…

we race the setting sun, little boots, little feet.

we scurry to a better view, up the hill in a flurry,

hurry! before it sets!

we run from the neighborhood’s concrete,

where across the street, the grass is not greener—

it is gold.

gold corn rows with cows, cold,

and a bubblegum, cotton candy sky,

where procrastinating geese fly high.

our eyes wide—

our joy, a silhouette,

(like the barn, the silo, the trees)

highlights God’s glory, His outrageous beauty!

two little girls and me,

in love with the God Who Loves Us!

in love with the God Who Loves Pink!

wanna see what we saw at the top of the hill?

wanna see what we saw at the top of the hill?
